Since relocating to the United States in 2022, he has built an active presence in the classical music scene, working with renowned ensembles including the Oregon Symphony, Alabama Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Anchorage Symphony, Oregon Mozart Players, Eugene Opera, Williamsburg Opera, Opera San José, and Orchestra Next.
He has assisted world renowned conductors including David Danzmayr (Austria), Hannu Lintu (Finland), and Asher Fisch (Israel).
As Assistant Conductor of Eugene Ballet, he has conducted numerous performances across both local productions and touring co-productions with Alaska Dance Theatre.
In under two years, he achieved a professional debut in the United States across all three major conducting genres, symphonic, ballet, and opera, establishing a strong international profile as an emerging conductor.
In 2026, he was appointed Resident Conductor of the prestigious Opera San José in California, marking significant international recognition and a consistent presence on the podium throughout the season.
In Argentina, Rodrigo founded the Camerata and the Academic Orchestra of the National University of the Arts, serving as Artistic Director for over a decade. With these ensembles, he conducted hundreds of public concerts over the years, spanning chamber, symphonic, symphonic-choral, and opera repertoire, with numerous performances in the principal concert halls in Buenos Aires, Auditorium Facultad de Derecho, Palacio Libertad, Usina del Arte, Teatro Colon, Salon Dorado, Teatro 25 de Mayo.
Rodrigo holds degrees in Viola and Orchestral Conducting from Argentina, along with a Master's in Orchestral Conducting from the United States. Following his undergraduate studies, he continued his training with Argentine, American, and European pedagogues, participating in advanced conducting programs with the Argentine National Symphony Orchestra (under Pedro Ignacio Calderón), Teatro Colón (under Arturo Diemecke), and the Federal Fellowship for Advanced Orchestral Conducting Studies (under Luis Gorelik). He has also taken part in numerous international training programs with conductors including Jooyong Ahn, Mark Gibson, Neil Varon, David Jacobs, Marc Minkowski, Johannes Schlaefli, and Jorma Panula, among others.
